About the association

A professional body, wholly dedicated to Egypt's textile industry.

Established in 2003, ETDA unites manufacturers, exporters, SMEs, research institutions and academic experts across the full value chain — from raw cotton to finished garments.

Who we are

Bringing the whole industry together.

The Egyptian Textile Development Association (ETDA) is a non-profit business association, established in 2003 under Egyptian law, dedicated to the development and modernisation of Egypt's textile and apparel sector.

We engage public and private stakeholders to strengthen the textile value chain, enhance competitiveness, and support sustainable industrial growth.
